Garage Door Photos: Parts and Repair Work
These garage door photos show the parts and positions discussed in our service guides. Open an image to inspect it at a larger size. The pictures are not a location claim or a promise that your door needs the same repair.
Garage Door Photos as a Visual Guide
A spring shaft sits above the opening. Tracks carry the rollers along the sides and overhead. Panels hinge together as the door bends through the curve. Naming these parts can make a service request clearer without asking you to touch them.
Use a Picture Without Copying the Repair
Two doors can look alike yet carry different weights, spring sizes and hardware. A photograph rarely shows every fastener, the condition inside a motor or the balance of the complete door. Treat this gallery as an aid to description, not a parts-ordering chart.
- Find an image that resembles the area you are describing.
- Use the plain part name: spring, track, cable, section or opener.
- Tell us what moved or sounded different at your property.
- Let the inspection establish the fault and repair scope.
If You Send Your Own Door Photo
Take a wide image from a secure standing position outside the opening. A tilted section or a hanging cable can be described from a distance. Do not stand beneath a raised door, put a hand on a bottom bracket or climb a ladder to improve a picture for us.
Our service form lets you attach a door photo if you wish. Try to leave out faces, license plates and unrelated personal items. You can also call and describe the situation without uploading anything.
Turn the Visual Clue Into the Right Request
Read about springs, tracks, panels or opener installation. Each guide covers a different system; the price list explains which tasks have published starting amounts.
A photo helps identify the concern, but the technician inspects and prices your own door before repair.
